Electronic Records & Signature Disclosure

By creating an account, or by proceeding to review or sign a document through Twerll (including through a signing link, QR code, or email request, and including as a guest), you consent to receive, review, and sign documents and related records electronically.
What your consent covers
Your consent applies to the documents and records connected to your use of Twerll: agreements presented for signature; signing requests, reminders, one-time verification codes, and completion notices; signing and evidence certificates and audit records; and disclosures, receipts, and notices about the Twerll service itself.
Electronic signatures are binding
You agree that your electronic signature (drawn, typed, or given through another method Twerll offers) is intended as your legal signature, and that documents signed electronically through Twerll are intended to be as valid and enforceable as if signed on paper, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some document types cannot be signed electronically in some jurisdictions; the sender and each signer are responsible for confirming electronic signature is permitted for their document.
What you need
A device with a current web browser or the Twerll app, an internet connection, a working email address you can access, and the ability to view PDF documents and download or store files if you want to keep copies. If these requirements change in a way that creates a material risk you cannot access your records, we will notify you.
Paper copies
We do not mail paper copies. You can view, download, and print your signed documents and certificates from Twerll at any time while your account is active, at no charge. Save your own copies. If you cannot access a record connected to your email address, contact legal@twerll.com and we will provide an electronic copy where we reasonably can.
Withdrawing your consent
You can decline to sign any individual document simply by not signing it. You may withdraw your general consent to electronic records by emailing legal@twerll.com. Because Twerll is an electronic service, withdrawing consent means you cannot sign new documents through Twerll; it does not undo documents you already signed.
Keep your email up to date
Signing requests, verification codes, and completion notices go to the email address on your account or the address the sender used for you. Keep it current in your account settings, or tell the person sending you documents about any change.
Verification and signing records
When you sign, Twerll records details of the signing process, which may include your name or username, email address, IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, and the verification method used. These details may appear in the signed document's certificate and audit records, which are shared with the other parties to the document.
